Apple will be rolling out a new design for MacBook Pro in 2026. It is expected that the company will launch an M5 chip upgrade and thinner designs in MacBook Pros in the coming year.

In his Power On newsletter on November 3, Bloomberg’s Mark Gurman reiterated that the MacBook Pro will “probably” get a “true overhaul” in 2026, with an OLED display and a thinner design. He expects only a small performance boost for the 2025 MacBook Pro models, with M5, M5 Pro, and M5 Max chips that are “already near completion.”

Gurman revealed that the MacBook Pro will get an OLED display technology in early 2026. Meanwhile, Apple analyst Ming-Chi Kuo and display industry analyst Ross Young predicted that the 14 and 16-inch MacBook Pros will have mini LED displays in 2025.

Furthermore, you can see the complete haul in 2025 but there is a delay in OLED display. OLED display technology is beneficial in increasing brightness, a higher contrast ratio with deeper blacks, and improving power efficiency for longer battery life.

Another significant feature is the thinner design of MacBook Pros. Gurman exclaimed that Apple is aiming to develop the thinnest technology in the world tech technology. MacBook Pros are a little thicker because of Apple’s silicon body. Now the company reversing its MacBooks in thinner designs.

Additionally, Gurman reported that Apple’s M6 chip will built on the new 2nm process, a new design, a new display design, and a performance booster.

In the coming years, Apple users will experience a complete fresh redesign overhaul.
