Create Genmoji with iOS 18 2

iOS 18.2 is now officially available for iPhone users, introducing one of the most exciting and much-awaited features of Apple Intelligence, Genmoji. Creating a Genmoji on the iPhone device with iOS 18.2 is a breeze. The term Genmoji is a combination of two words, ‘emoji’ and ‘AI-generated’ making its meaning crystal clear.

In essence, iOS 18.2 allows users to use the power of Apple Intelligence to come up with new emojis in no time. To begin, the users need to have the emoji on their iPhone running iOS 18.2 following which they are supposed to tap on the icon which is like a glowing smiley nestled in the top-right corners.

Following this, all they need to do is simply describe the vision of the emoji they wish to create and Genmoji will create the emoji within no time. Apple Intelligence has the ability to generate a new emoji that aligns with the description provided and it also offers several options from which the users can select.

Once the emoji appears, users can swipe through the additional variations to find the perfect one for them, if the results are not what expected, they have the option to refine their description for better and relevant results.

Alternatively, users who have iPhones running iOS 18.2 can look for an emoji directly within the emoji keyboard. Once a Genmoji is created, it will get saved to the emoji keyboard for easy access in the future.

When crafting the description for Genmoji, names of people can be included, however, recognized people and intellectual property as off-limits because of copyright issues.

Genmoji is a feature of AI in iOS 18.2 which means only iPhones that are compatible with AI will enjoy this new functionality including, the iPhone 16 series, iPhone 15 Pro Max and iPhone 15 Pro, while other models don’t support Genmoji.
