Apple is going to deliver the fourth-generation iPhone SE next year in March and according to a new report in Korea, mass production of the components for the upcoming iPhone SE 4 by a supplier is set to begin in December.
In the article by MacRumors, it was mentioned that an Apple supplier is expected to start producing the camera module for the iPhone SE is supposed to start soon next month. Hopefully, the budget-friendly iPhone model will be available for users in the first half of 2025.
The article mentions that LG Innotek which is responsible for providing the front camera module for the new iPhone SE, generally starts supplying camera modules roughly three months prior to the new launches of the smartphone. This hints at a possible release timeframe of March or April 2025 for the much-awaited iPhone SE 4. Furthermore, Bloomberg has shown that Apple could bring a new smart home display device in March, indicating a simultaneous launch event for both items.
Expected features for the iPhone SE 4 include the A18 chip which was first introduced for users in iPhone 16 and 16 Plus. The iPhone may also come with 8GB RAM which is in alignment with the iPhone 16 lineup. These enhancements could also enable the iPhone SE 4 to add up to Apple Intelligence placing it as the most economical model that is added to the AI features of Apple. Storage options are supposed to begin at 128GB which is a notable increase as compared to the previous models.
