MacBook Air Models confirmed by Apple

Apple has stumbled with its macOS Sequoia 15.2 update by inadvertently releasing software for two yet-to-be-released Macs. The software files for ‘Mac 16,12’ and ‘Mac 16,13’ point to upcoming MacBook Air models.

These leaks mention that the MacBook Air which is 13-inch, M4, 2025 and the MacBook Air indicates that the new M4 MacBook Airs are in the world and likely on the horizon.

Rumours have been going around that Apple plans to integrate M4 chips across its entire Mac lineup, with the expected MacBook Air to receive this upgrade in the spring of 2025 which is likely to be between March and June.

There are no anticipations for the MacBook’s design, in palace of this, the focus will be on the internal improvement primarily focusing on the M4 chip. While the source of this leak might be unexpected, the news that Apple is developing MacBook Airs that feature the latest M4 chip is hardly surprising.

Apple has already rolled out M4 chip versions for the MacBook Pro, iMac, Mac mini and even the iPad Pro. With the M3-quipped MacBook Airs launching earlier this year, it looks like Apple will unveil M4 MacBook Airs in both 13-inch and 15-inch models sometime in 2025.

Although nothing has been confirmed yet, Apple has made an official announcement, which has also added to the excitement for early 2025. The M3 MacBook Air is already considered one of the best laptops which is available in the market. Also, the prospect of it being powered by the M4 chip is very thrilling.

It is something that the users can expect to be officially revealed sooner rather than later.

Users have always been interested in the products created by Apple, and the company always takes care of leaks, rather ironically this time the leak happens to have come from the company itself.
