It has been officially announced that the OnePlus 13 is going to be launched globally in 2025. The smartphone was earlier released in China in October but no date has been released yet for the same.
In a recent communication on the OnePlus Community platform, Pete Lau confirmed that the OnePlus 12 will be available outside of China in around January 2025. While the exact date will remain unspecified, the earlier release of the device in China compared to the OnePlus 12’s last year suggests that it may be introduced early in the month.
Lau has expressed this enthusiasm in a statement mentioning that he is excited to announce that they are going to unveil the OnePlus 13, the major flagship in January 2025. This will be an experience that redefines excellence and he eagerly anticipates the participation of the users.
A landing page on the OnePlus website vaguely indicates that the global release of the OnePlus 13 could occur somewhere around January 5. The OnePlus 13 has been expected to be among the first devices that feature the Snapdragon 8 Elite processors upon its launch in the United States along with hardware enhancements like upgraded cameras and a flat display.
The rest of the post commemorates the 11th anniversary of OnePlus reflecting on the launches of 2024 that includes Watch 2, OnePlus 12, Buds 3 Pro and more.
Looking ahead to 2025, there is a mention of incorporating with Google to introduce new AI features in OxygenOS. Reports have suggested that the OnePlus 13 may be priced at around Rs. 70,000. Also, it is expected that more details about the global launch will be announced in the upcoming weeks.
In addition to this, several new smartphones are all also expected to be released in India in December such as Vivo X200 and ASUS ROG Phone 9.
