GSC Game World has launched the first significant post-launch patch for Stalker 2 on both Xbox and PC which has over 650 fixes. Stalker 2 has a remarkable debut selling more than one million copies, however, it has been affected by several critical bugs.
According to GSC, the newly released patch 1.0.1 aims to boost the gaming experience for Stalker 2 players, this update addresses several issues like memory leaks, quest blockers, crashes and various minor bugs.
In addition to this, several balance adjustments have also been made to simplify the gameplay. For example, Bloodsuckers have been weakened, and the costs of the weapon and armour repairs have been reduced, patch notes for which are available now.
The developer stated that they appreciate enthusiasm and support since the launch and it means a great deal to them. GSC has also indicated that the upcoming updates will focus on fixing the bugs that are within the A-life system. Moreover, the free-in-game content is on the horizon which is expected to have more details when GSC Game World reveals its roadmap later in December.
