Xbox Live is down: Facing Login Issues

Xbox games are having issues with login. They are unable to access their Xbox Live accounts at 6:57 PM ET. Lately, gamers are experiencing some problems with Xbox Live services, and the community is furious. 

“You may not be able to sign in to your Xbox profile, may be disconnected while signed in, or have other related problems,” a status message. “Features that require sign-in like most games, apps and social activity won’t be available.”

For those who were able to access their Xbox accounts on consoles, they were unable to connect online games and showed Xbox sign-in errors.

The Xbox support team posted this on X. 

“We are seeing improvement to sign-in, but impact to matchmaking and completing purchases continues. We appreciate your patience while we investigate. Continue to follow along here and on our status page.”

At the time of writing this, it seems that the issues have been resolved. It is unclear what was the issue with the service. It is also reported that Microsoft is dealing with multiple Azure services in the central US region. 

The company is also dealing with Microsoft 365 problems that might prevent users from accessing Microsoft 365 apps and services. Frontier Airlines was also impacted by this outage. Here is what they posted on X. 

“Our systems are currently impacted by a Microsoft outage, which is also affecting other companies. During this time booking, check-in, access to your boarding pass, and some flights may be impacted. We appreciate your patience.”

Downdetector tracked more than 7000 reports by users who encountered a problem with Xbox Live. However, the number is now close to 100 and trending on the lower side in the course of a few hours.
