Blizzard’s World of Warcraft is a widely popular game known for its costly-in-game cosmetics. On its 20th anniversary, it released the latest mount named, Gilded Brutosaur which will cost $90.
The mount themed with gems represents the expansion of Warcraft. Alongside the Brutosaur allows explore the world of Azeroth via game characters Morten and Killia while sitting on the beast.
“Celebrate camaraderie between the Alliance and the Horde with the awe-inspiring Trader’s Gilded Brutosaur, adorned with a 20th Anniversary-themed harness encrusted with gems representing World of Warcraft’s expansions,” reads Blizzard’s official description. “Brave the world of Azeroth on this magnificent Zandalari beast with Morten and Killia, bringing the auction house and the mail to you on the go!”
Even the hefty amount of $90 doesn’t stop players from buying the Trader’s Gilded Brutosaur. Another fact is Blizzard made it temporarily available for purchase. Fueling the players that they have only a few months (till 6 January 2025) to buy this latest mount before it forever disappears from the game.
“The auction house’s WoW Token right now is out of WoW Token supplies since you need suppliers to supply the demand, and currently skyrocketing given the 3% price cap per 20 minutes,” Redditor Arasitar explained. “WoW Token was 200k on NA. Probably going to go to 400k in a short bit.”
Blizzard’s mounts are always popular whether they cost lump sum money or not. The original Mount was introduced in 2018 with the Battle for Azeroth expansion. It required 5 million gold at one time which cost around $500, that’s why players see $90 as a low price for mount.
