Apple has announced the date of their next big event to be held on September 9th, 2024 at 1 PM ET / 10 AM PT. They have given the event a tagline “It’s Glowtime”. The event will take place at the Steve Jobs Theater at Apple Park.
The company is expected to launch its latest iPhone 16 lineup. The big change that is coming to iPhones this year is that the iPhone 16 and iPhone 16 Plus are going to have a vertically aligned camera system on the back. It will be a switch to the earlier version of the device. This is true only if we go by the iPhone 16 dummy units doing the rounds in the market.
The new iPhone 16 Pro and iPhone 16 Pro Max are rumored to get bigger screens but the company is focused on keeping the same camera layout. It is also reported that new Pro iPhones could also come in a brand-new bronze color.
All the devices from this 1 lineup are expected to have the action button, which was exclusive to only the pro devices last year. It is also rumored that the new iPhones might also feature a brand new button for capturing photos and videos. However, it is unclear if they will slap it across the lineup or if it will be exclusive to pro devices only.
The biggest part of the event would be the Apple Intelligence. Yes, AI and Apple Intelligence are going to play a big part in this year’s iPhone devices.
The full lineup of iPhone 16 is slated to support the new Apple Intelligence. Apart from iPhones, the company is also rumored to launch a new watch and two new versions of the AirPods.
