Maingear is a leading name in the PC industry, they build and sell customizable desktops. Apart from its quality line of desktops, Maingear also offers some quality gaming laptops as well.
After a successful launch of the ML-16 laptop last month, Maingear is back with another powerful refreshed model ML-17. It is a larger and more powerful gaming laptop that goes all-out with performance hardware including 14the gen Intel Core i9-14900HX processor (CPU), NVIDIA RTX 4090 Laptop graphics card (GPU), and more memory.
The laptop supports up to 64 GB RAM and up to three 4TB SSDs. A total of 12TB storage for gamers.
Here is what Maingear CEO Wallace Santos had to say about this laptop.
“Packed full of the latest, high-performance components, including the most powerful CPUs and GPUs available on the market, as well as premium specs like Thunderbolt 5 and Wi-Fi 7, this laptop delivers a top-tier gaming experience that parallels the kind of high-performance desktop-like gameplay that gamers demand, all in a backpackable form factor.”
The laptop offers a humongous 17.3-inch display that has a refresh rate of 240Hz. With 2560×1440 resolution, the display also supports Nvidia’s G-Sync technology. G-Sync Tech helps in reducing the likelihood of screen tearing in games.
Some other features include a Thunderbolt 5 port that supports faster connectivity speeds and also supports displays with refresh rates as high as 540Hz.
The refreshed 2024 version of the ML-17 is now available at Maingear to buy. However, it is not a cheap laptop. You will have to pay a hefty price to get all the bells and whistles. The starting price of this laptop is $3899.
