Motorola has launched new Edge series phones to lead its smartphone range. The company has launched three new models, Moto Edge 50 Fusion, the Moto Edge 50 Pro, and the Moto Edge 50 Ultra.
These devices cover the specs from mid-range to ultra-premium range in the mobile device segment. The devices are also set to challenge the best devices we can but today in the budget segment as well. But it is also challenging the likes of Google Pixel 8.
Among the three devices, the Moto Edge 50 Fusion is the entry-level device that starts at €399. This device comes with a 6.7-inch full HD+ pOLED 144Hz display, Qualcomm Snapdragon 7s Gen 2 chipset coupled with 8GB or 12GB LPDDR4X RAM, and UFS 2.2 storage of 128GB, 256GB and 512GB.
The Motorola Edge 50 Pro sits right in the middle and comes with a Snapdragon 7 gen 3 chipset. The rest of the specs are kind of similar to the budget model. It also comes with 125W Turbopower wired charging for quick charging. The device sports a leather back finish and comes in three colors. It comes in ‘Luxe Lavender’ or ‘Black Beauty’ or ‘Moonlight Pearl’.
The Moto Edge 50 Ultra finishes the series with high-end devices that will be competing with the likes of Google Pixel devices.
The device will come with a Snapdragon 8s Gen 3 chip, 16GB RAM, and 1TB of storage. The main feature of the Ultra is the 50MP shooter that will help the users capture some brilliant images. It also has a 50MP ultra-wide camera with larger pixels and a 64MP telephoto camera with a 3x optical zoom.
The design and camera bump of these devices is something to admire. It is refreshing to see such a design language in a long time.
