Microsoft Announces Three New Xbox Consoles

Microsoft has announced three new special edition Xbox Series X and Xbox Series S consoles that are going to be launched later this year.

It was revealed at the Xbox Game Showcase 2024 conference. The trio of Xbox consoles will come with increased storage capacity and also come in new colors. The thing to note here is that they aren’t more advanced or pro editions of the console, they are functionally the same machines with new facelifts.

Among the three consoles, the limited edition 2TB Xbox Series X in galaxy black, a cosmic is the highlight. The green accent color of the console extends to a matching black controller and stand. The starry black edition is the only model from the bunch that features a physical disc drive.

Then there is an all-digital 1TB Xbox Series X in robot white. This was a color that was previously exclusive to the smaller and cheaper version of Xbox.

All these Xbox are scheduled to be launched this holiday season, which is at the end of this year. The pre-orders and local pricing are set to be announced in the coming weeks.

The company has not announced the pre-order date for three new consoles. We expect that Microsoft will open the pre-orders for the new consoles in the coming weeks. So, if you want the new starry black Xbox Series X, you might have to move fast. The company says that the special edition consoles will be available in limited quantities.

There is no confirmation from the company about the pricing of the consoles, but we expect them to be around $500.
