On 28 October, Nintendo announced that the free mobile version of Animal Crossing: Pocket Camp game service will end on November 28, 2024, at 3 PM (UTC). The game is getting an updated version but is available as a paid mobile app on the Apple Store and Google Play Store.
The latest version is titled “Animal Crossing: Pocket Camp Complete” which launches on smartphones on December 3rd. The introductory pricing is $9.99 USD which is valid until January 31, 2025, at 6:00 AM. After that, the regular price of the paid app is $19.99 USD.
Nintendo released a descriptive video on YouTube about new features, data transfers, and a synopsis of the latest Animal Crossing: Pocket Camp Complete game for players.
Moreover, as an Animal Crossing player, you can work as a campground manager befriending animals and inviting them to your campsite. Nintendo introduced a data transfer feature for existing players. It can help people to save data to link their Nintendo account with the game and data will automatically transfer to the latest game version.
However, the online service shut down, and the upgraded paid app will be available in the offline mode. This resulted in the cease of the “playing with friends via online communication” feature along with leaf tickets and pocket camp club.
Luckily, new features have arrived in the Animal Crossing game including, Leaf Tokens, Camper cards with QR codes to invite friends, and a Whistle Pass location where you meet other players and friends. You can enjoy a live in-game musical performance of K.K. Slider every day at 7:00 PM.
