It has not been too long since the Nothing Phone 3 debuted in the market, now the rumors for the Nothing Phone 3 have already started circulating.
According to an Indian news portal, the latest flagship from Nothing will feature a powerful SoC from Qualcomm, Snapdragon 8s Gen 3. The post also adds that an industry insider confirmed the news about the matter. The industry insider also claimed that there is going to be a price bump for the device from the previous flagship.
According to the source, the price is going to be between 40,000 to 45,000 Indian Rupees, which is equivalent to $480 to $540. According to these rumors, they are not interested in going for the absolute best in the smartphone category, they just want to place them in the budget premium segment.
The company plans to place its devices in a segment where customers can have a premium experience at the price of a budget.
Pricing is always interesting when a new company wants to place themselves in the market. The previous flagship from Nothing was launched at a price of $600 in the US in 2023. So, if they are considering a price in India, perhaps we’d see that here in the US too.
If the speculations are to be believed, we can expect a $100 price bump in the US.
As for the processor, the Snapdragon 8s Gen 3 is a toned-down version of the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3. So, we can expect good performance from the device. Qualcomm stated that the chip is designed to take on on-device AI features.
