Realme has been working on a new device which made its debut on GeekBench last month under a codename – RMX3851. Now, it has been learned that this device is actually Realme GT6.
This device has just been certified by the FCC, meaning it will debut internationally. This certification provides us with enough details regarding its software, hardware, connectivity, and more.
Through this listing, we learned that the device will come with a massive 5,000 mAh battery. Apart from this, it will support 5G bands and also have dual-band Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, GPS, GLONASS, BDS, Galileo, SBAS, and NFC.
Out of the box, the device will run Realme UI 5.0 based on Android 14 version. According to the certifications listing, it will weigh 199g. It will most likely come with 16 GB RAM support. Like some of the other devices from the company, it will support fast charging using SuperVOOC tech. However, the actual charging speed is not yet known.
Now, let’s look at the most important component of the device, the processor. As we mentioned the device has been featured on Geekbench using the codename – RMX3851, through this we know what kind of processor it is sporting. The new GT6 model will be powered by Snapdragon 8s Gen 3 Soc, a chip that is becoming a favorite of quite a few Chinese brands.
Realme RMX3851 was spotted on the Indonesia telecom website revealing that the name of the device is Realme GT6.
The launch date for this device is still a mystery. However, we can expect it to be launched in August this year as the Realme GT5 was launched in August last year.
