There is good news for Samsung mobile phone owners, the company has rolled out the One UI 6.1.1 update for the Galaxy S24 series, Flip 5, and Fold 6.

The South Korean giant rolled out these updates for these devices first in its home country. This is an Android 14-based update. We expect them to release this update to the other regions as well.

You can check out the Samsung Newsroom on this.

The older handsets from 2022 could also be in line for One UI 6.1.1, but Samsung has not released any specifics about it. They’ve not even confirmed which AI features will work on the older devices.

The update is now available in South Korea with firmware version S92xNKSU3AXH7 and requires the user to download 2.8GB. At the ongoing IFA exhibition, the company announced that One UI 6.1.1 will bring features like Live Translate and Circle to Search to the Galaxy S24 series, Z Fold 5, and Z Flip 5. According to them, the foldable devices will start receiving the updates of One UI 6.1.1 after the IFA.

The features coming with One UI 6.1.1 also include the Sketch to Image tool that creates AI art from scratch. Users can also use Portrait Studio to produce AI images based on their own photos.

They will also update the real-time interpretation across multiple calling apps such as Google Meet and WhatsApp.

Inside the Samsung Notes app, spoken audio can be recorded and transcribed at the same time. Another update will let you summarize and translate PDF files.

It will also include a new display update that will change the wallpaper of the device based on the time of the day and weather.

If you are in the South Korea region, go ahead and update your devices now. For the rest of the users, wait for a few days, weeks, or months to get a stable release.
