Mark Gurman, the Apple whisperer has made another remark on Siri with Apple intelligence.

According to Mark Gurman, in his latest Power On Newsletter, the new and rebuilt Siri with Apple Intelligence might be released sooner than expected. It might not be a completely new experience, but we could see some new features to roll out soon.

In his latest newsletter, he gave us some additional details about the release timeline of the new Siri with Apple Intelligence. According to him, some of the new Siri features might come with iOS 18.3, rather than iOS 18.4 as we previously expected.

Here is what he wrote in his newsletter.

“The biggest iOS 18 update after iOS 18.1 will be iOS 18.4, which will include many of the new Siri features (some are in consideration for iOS 18.3, I’m told).”

From this, we can assume that we could potentially get the new Siri experience from January 2025. Typically, the third iteration of a major iOS update ships in January.

Apart from this, he also listed the potential timelines of all major iOS updates.

According to him,

  • iOS 18.1 will be released in October this year
  • iOS 18.2 will be released in December this year
  • iOS 18.3 will be released in January next year
  • iOS 18.4 will be released in March next year

The 18.1 update will bring the first round of Apple Intelligence features on iPhones. These features might include writing tools, photo clean-up, notification summaries, and more.

The major update of iOS 18.2 is set to bring Image Playground, Genmoji, and ChatGPT integration.
