Creator subscriptions on TikTok will now be available to more and more users as they are expanding the feature.
This new Creator Subscription feature allows users to build an audience of paying subscribers in the app. When they launched the feature back in 2022, it was called Live Creators.
However, at the US Creator Summit this year, TikTok announced that the company would soon expand the feature to non-Live creators as well. And now they are doing exactly that.
Here is what they said in a post.
“Subscription allows creators to offer their most engaged followers special access to exclusive perks, unique experiences, and a members-only community for a monthly fee. Building on the strong, authentic connections they’ve already established through their content, creators can use the feature to provide an exclusive space to enhance these relationships and encourage more meaningful engagement.”
According to the new feature, eligible creators will now be able to customize their subscription packages into three different pricing tiers. Each of these tiers will have different benefits according to the approach of creators.
They will be able to create private communication channels that will include subspace, chats, comments, and messages for direct interaction with subscribers.
They will also be able to offer exclusive content like special videos or LIVEs only for the paid subscribers.
They will also be able to use community identifiers such as unique stickers during LIVEs and evolving badges right next to subscriber’s names.
There are also ready-made customized perks by TikTok such as performance requests, Discord roles, shoutouts, and LIVE topics.
