Next Windows 11 Update Coming Early

The next major update to Windows 11 is coming earlier than expected. The company is releasing the next Windows 11 update to its release Preview ring. 

The new update includes HRD background support, energy saver, Sudo for Windows, Rust in the Windows Kernel, and more. Officially, Microsoft will roll out this update later this year but curious souls can grab the final update through the Windows Insider program. Just go to the Windows Update window and click on the Windows Insider option to access it. 

The new Windows 11 24H2 update includes HDR background support, which allows the users to use JXR images as background. The Windows will also adapt the wallpaper on a per-display basis. 

In this update, Microsoft is also reworking the energy-saving mode for maximum battery efficiency. The new energy-saving mode will reduce energy consumption to save battery life for laptops. This mode will also work for desktop PCs, this can reduce the amount of power a gaming rig uses. 

The new update will also include the Sudo command designed for developers. Apart from this company also adding support for 7-Zip and TAR archives in File Explorer with this update. 

A new voice clarity feature powered by AI is also part of the new Windows 11 24H2 update. This feature will reduce the background noise significantly when you’re on a call or you’re recording audio. 

Copilot is also getting updated with this new update. It will now have a dedicated button on the right-hand side of the system tray. It will now understand more commands like changing settings or turning on some Windows features.
