DJI has decided to expand its business into e-bikes. They’ve come up with a new brand called Amflow and have a new Avinox drive system. A company that is solely known for drones is launching its e-bike.

With a US ban on DJI drones more likely than not, the company has been trying its hand at things that are not affected by the Countering CCP Drones Act.

With that said, DJI has entered the e-bike arena with its Avinox drive system. The Avinox drive system promises a relatively light 2.52 kg weight while offering up to 105 Nm of peak torque/power and the system comes with 600Wh or 800Wh battery options.

The Avinox drive system has tech that is typically found in drones. It has a 2-inch color OLED touchscreen that delivers real-time data to the user. There is also an Avinox app that users can connect to the bike. This app allows you to set up an anti-theft mode and check its real-time location. You can also change the settings like power, torque, and cadence through the app. Apart from this, e-bike can also allow you to charge your mobile device as well.

Aside from hardware, this e-bike has the best software on board to help the riders with an exceptional riding experience. The company says that its Smart-Assist algorithm taps into various sensors to automatically adjust the amount of electric riding assistance it provides.

The bike is going to have four riding modes – Auto, Eco, Trail, and Turbo. It will also have an additional Boost mode for emergency power boost.

The e-bike also comes with the latest fast charging tech that allows you to charge from 0 to 75% in just 90 minutes.

This looks like a great mountain bike, but the price is not revealed yet.
