During the FY24 earnings call on Thursday, Take-Two Interactive confirmed the launch window of Grand Theft Auto (GTA) 6. The parent company of Rockstar Games confirmed that GTA 6 will be released in Fall 2025.
“As we enter Fiscal 2025 with positive momentum, we expect to deliver Net Bookings of $5.55 to $5.65 billion. Our outlook reflects a narrowing of Rockstar Games’ previously established window of Calendar 2025 to the Fall of Calendar 2025 for Grand Theft Auto VI. We are highly confident that Rockstar Games will deliver an unparalleled entertainment experience, and our expectations for the commercial impact of the title continue to increase.” This is what Take-Two Interactive said about the GTA 6.
They’ve also revealed the numbers for GTA 5. The game has sold 200 million copies, a mind boggling feat. But it is still the second best selling title of all time, the first one is Minecraft with more than 300 million copies.
Other than the trailer of GTA 6, there is not much information available about the upcoming title.
The company has not revealed any information about the most awaited game of the decade. Earlier there were rumors that the possible release of the game could shift to 2026 but I guess that was just conjecture.
There are also some rumors of a possible PC launch of the original Red Dead Redemption, but so far, there is no official take on that.
