The consumer tech startup from Carl Pei is expected to launch its new earbuds this month. Both products will launch on April 18, 2024.
These earphones will also debut with new color variants, according to leaked renders shared by Android Headlines.
The company announced that they are dropping numbers in its naming strategy. Instead of Nothing Ear 3, it will just be called the Nothing Ear and Nothing Ear (a).
First up is the Nothing Ear, the high-end version of the two earbuds set to launch. These would include active noise cancellation, dual connection, and waterproofing with an IP54 rating. It will also include a respectable battery life of 7.5 hours with ANC off and the case gives you 33 hours. They also include a fast charging feature that will give you 10 hours of usage from just a 10-minute charge.
You’ll get this at €150.
Next up is the Nothing Ear (a), the budget variant with some tradeoffs. The biggest differentiator is the waterproofing rating and the battery life. It still has a dual connection, active noise cancellation, and a quick charging feature.
These will come in three colors, black, white, and yellow. It will cost you just €100.
The yellow color of the device is meant for the eco-friendly design of the Nothing Ear (a).
