Google TV launched its service of free channels last year and it was an instant hit. They introduced Free Ad-Supported Television channels to its TV app, providing access to channels like Reuters Now, BBC Earth, Love Nature, and more. Users can enjoy these channels right from the Google TV app without having to sign up or download any separate app for streaming.

Now, Google is adding 10 more free channels from different sources to its already long list of free channels. The newly added channels were reported by StreamingBetter. Here is the list of 10 new channels added to Google’s free selection of TV channels.

  • FilmRise Western
  • ION+
  • Johnny Carson TV
  • Noticias Telemundo Ahora
  • Property & Reno
  • Real Disaster Channel
  • Supermarket Sweep
  • The FBI Files
  • World’s Wildest Police Videos
  • Yahoo Finance

With the inclusion of these 10 channels, Google now has 135 free channels within Google TV that users can watch without having to sign in or launch a separate app.

Google TV with Free Built-in Channels

You can head over to the Live tab on your Google TV, and then look under free built-in channels. Select Google TV and then select the channel you want to watch.

Recently, Google introduced its new Google TV Network, an ad format that is available on Google TV devices and Smart TVs. With this, brands will be able to target the viewers with different types of ads. They are also devising new types of ads for this format.

This is another source of revenue for Google now. So, expect the tech giant to add more free channels to their already long list of channels.
