Microsoft Copilot Chatbot Now Works Directly in Telegram

| Updated on 31 May 2024

In an exciting development for tech enthusiasts, Microsoft Copilot has seamlessly integrated with the popular messaging app, Telegram. This development brings the power of Copilot’s AI assistance directly to your fingertips, allowing you to chat with the powerful AI tool without any hassle.

Now, Copilot functions within the Telegram app on various platforms like Windows, macOS, Android, and iOS. Because Microsoft has released the Copilot in a bot format, it works in both official apps as well as third-party apps like Unigram.

To use the Copilot bot in Telegram, just go to the official link shared by Microsoft or search for Copilot in the app. Once in the app, you can interact with Copilot in a similar way to a one-on-one message, holding a “conversation” with the AI tool. It can perform various tasks, including web searches, helping with tasks, and even cracking a joke or two.

One thing to note here is that you’ll need to share your phone number with Copilot to get it up and running.

The Copilot bot isn’t limited to a specific platform. You can chat with it on Windows, macOS, iOS, and Android. Telegram integration with Copilot is currently in beta and is free for all users. The usage limit for Microsoft Copilot in Telegram is 30 turns per day, which can be quite handy when you are in a hurry.

It is basically a shortcut to access Copilot’s abilities without downloading a standalone app.

So, next time you’re on Telegram, say hello to Copilot! It’s like having a knowledgeable companion who’s always ready to lend a hand.
